Word of the Day: FanSanity

Chris at the NattyIt’s coming… the season…. in 18 days. Last year was an awesome year for the Ducks!  What’s in store for this year?

I’m hoping for another Natty run.  I’m guaranteeing some Maniac madness.  I think I need a vocabulary to describe it.  Here’s word number one.

FanSanity: Noun; a state of mind brought on by the start of football season. Symptoms of FanSanity displayed by Maniac Fans include obsessively following the injury status of key Duck players on Twitter, avoiding family celebrations on Saturdays, and periodically wearing yellow and green body paint.

Symptoms of FanSanity displayed by FanAblers (that’s me, and everyone else who loves a crazy Duck) may include hoping and wishing for the Ducks to win and for football season to end.

What’s your favorite word to describe the Duck craziness?
